New Pacific Metals Signs Administrative Mining Contracts for Carangas Project in Bolivia

New Pacific Metals (NEWP) said Wednesday it has signed administrative mining contracts for its Carangas Silver-Gold Project in Bolivia.

The contracts provide a 30-year term for the approximately 39-square-kilometer project, the company said.

New Pacific Metals said it will advance remaining permitting and technical work after receiving legislative approval.

Additionally, the company said it plans to begin an approximately 30,000 meter drill program at Carangas during the week of Sept. 8.

New Pacific Metals shares were down more than 4% in premarket activity Wednesday.
