0221 GMT - The Bank of Thailand is likely to keep rates unchanged for rest of 2026, two economists of Goldman Sachs's Economics Research say in a note. "The BOT sees overall growth as low and uneven," the economists say. Although exports and investments have improved, the benefits to Thailand's broader economy seem limited, with domestic demand still weak and small- and medium-sized enterprises' credit stress worsening, the economists say. "Inflationary pressures have eased but BOT remains wary of upside risks," they add. GS maintains its expectation for BOT to keep policy rate unchanged at 1.0% through 2026.
